All mobile phone manufacturers want to create an ecosystem of accessories around their brand. And it makes a lot of sense, these products have a higher margin than mobile phones and also build customer loyalty.
In Spain, brands such as Realme are promoting this idea, and it seems that Xiaomi, one of the most committed to format, will not be left behind.
A few hours ago we told you that two Xiaomi products had been leaked, the Redmi 9A and the Xiaomi Mi Outdoor Watch . In the same document there is also a new bracelet, called Xiaomi Mi Band 4C.
Xiaomi Mi Band 4C really looks familiar!
We knew that the company was working on new variants of the Xiaomi Mi Band 5, but we did not expect that it will launch a cheap version of last year’s model, the Mi Band 4.
According to the catalogue of the Philippine subsidiary of Xiaomi, this model would have a 1.08-inch colour screen, a battery that would last almost two weeks and various functions to track our exercise and health.
But what has caught our attention the most has been its design. It is exactly the same as the Redmi Band, the first smart bracelet from Xiaomi’s low-cost brand.
The manufacturer may have decided to use the same device and sell it under a new name in some markets. This would allow you to have a low-cost bracelet. The Redmi model can be acquired in stores such as Aliexpress, for now importing it, for less than €20.
If the Xiaomi Mi Band 4C had a similar price it would be a direct rival to the Realme Band, which costs 24.99 euros in Spain and was launched a few days ago. In addition, the Xiaomi model would have a clear advantage over the Realme Band: its touch screen.
